The Eclipse Commute battery pack consists of 8 x Headway 38140S LifePO4 cells (3.2V 12Ah) connected 8 series 1 parallel. The integrated battery management system protects the cells during the charging & discharging process, resulting in a reliable & well balanced battery pack.

Battery Pack Construction
The battery cells, cell holders and BMS are well protected by tough black ABS plastic casings with a transparent polycarbonate centre section. The pack is securely held together by two heavy duty releasable/reusable cable ties.
In the unlikely event of a problem with the battery it can be quickly accessed by removing the heavy duty cable ties, which have an easy release mechanism, and removing the ABS casings.
Unlike many cheap mass market batteries we don't cover our packs in multiple layers of duct tape or PVC heat shrink which can be difficult to access. Cells are not spot welded together so replacing individual cells is easier.
