Charging an electric vehicle at home can be one of the simplest and most convenient ways of charging a vehicles battery.
The cost of charging an electric vehicle at home using mains electricity is minimal, though it can be reduced further by taking advantage of overnight off peak tariffs.
If you need to charge your vehicle at a different location where there is no access to a charge point (such as work, friend / family address etc) then you can simply unplug the portable charger and take it with you!
Whilst public charging points can be beneficial for some drivers who require rapid charging rates to maximise range, charging your vehicle at lower speeds over a longer period of time can help to extend battery life and reduce battery capacity degradation.
1. LCD display:
Shows the operating temperature, actual AC charging volatge, current & output power, electricity consumption, charging time etc .
2. Adjustable current:
It can help protect the EV battery and extend battery life. When time is sufficient, choose the lowest current ,and the charger will cut electricity automatically when the battery is full. If time is limited and a faster charge is required, then select the maximum current.
3. Seven protection features:
Overheat protection, overvoltage protection, waterproof protection ,leakage protection, overcurrent protection, undervoltage protection, lightening protection.
4. Easy operation:
Simply connect the plug with the EV's inlet, then the user can simply double click the screen or swipe the RFID card provided to choose the current output.
5. Containing the intelligent chip:
It can automatically repair minor charging problems while charging. When a fault occurs, the lights will blink in different ways to indicate different problems.
The Zencar portable EVSE chargers are supplied with a free EV cable case / bag which can be used for storage when not in use.

- Connector comes with attached rubber cover, which should be used when the connector is not in use.
- Avoid getting moisture into the connector pins as the vehicle will not charge when moisture is detected. Exposure to excess moisture can result in corrosion to the connector pins, which would not be covered by the 1 year warranty.
- Where possible store the charging cable in a clean dry location.
